Wild Tea Kombucha
I worked as a Digital Marketing Assistant for Wild Tea Kombucha, a female-founded kombucha brand based in Calgary, AB. My role centered around developing and executing marketing campaigns from start to finish—ideation, team communication, content creation, design, implementation, and performance reporting. I also supported the marketing team with project coordination, administrative tasks, and analytics, using data from the web and social media to inform strategy. Additional responsibilities included preparing promotional presentations, organizing events, and managing content for the company’s website and social media channels.

LOVED.
Labour Day weekend marked both a holiday and the kickoff of Calgary Pride, Wild Tea Kombucha celebrated with the launch of LOVED. Ruby Slipper, a limited-edition PRIDE kombucha created in collaboration with Mr. Fab (Ryan Massel). I was involved in every stage of the campaign: from designing the product label and sell sheet to organizing a photoshoot with Ryan and capturing product imagery.
To support the launch, I created a full suite of promotional content, including an email campaign, social media posts, and blog articles. Wild Tea Kombucha donated 100% of the profits from LOVED. to Skipping Stone—a Calgary-based organization that supports trans and gender-diverse individuals and their families. I also developed content highlighting Skipping Stone’s mission to further amplify the campaign’s impact.
From initial concept to launch party, being part of the LOVED. campaign was a meaningful and rewarding experience that combined creative execution with community-driven purpose.

Social Media Content
Creating daily content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook was a core part of my role at Wild Tea Kombucha. I began each cycle by researching industry trends, analyzing competitors, and studying current analytics across our website and social channels to identify what was resonating with our audience. From there, I crafted original, high-performing content—including posts, Reels, and TikToks—that boosted engagement and helped optimize performance within each platform’s algorithm.
Using tools like Adobe XD, Canva, After Effects, and my own photography, I brought WTK’s brand to life with vibrant, scroll-stopping visuals.
One of the highlights of my role was leading influencer outreach. I built authentic relationships, coordinated PR packages, and successfully expanded brand reach by having creators share their experiences with our products—something I genuinely loved doing.
Additionally, I helped organize and execute several standout campaigns, including the Soda launch, #StayWild, LOVED., and our collaboration with CBC. Keep scrolling to see how it all came to life.
#Staywild
At the heart of Wild Tea Kombucha is bold individuality, a commitment to wellness, and a refusal to play by the rules which is exactly what I set out to capture in the #StayWild campaign. Inspired by WTK’s vibrant, health-conscious community and co-founder Emily Baadsvik’s mission to disrupt the traditional kombucha space, I developed a campaign that embodied just that.
#StayWild brought the brand’s core identity to life, fusing authenticity with high-energy storytelling. The campaign invited our community to embrace their uniqueness, celebrate wellness without limits, and live wildly, just like our kombucha. Anchored in WTK’s powerful tagline, “Stay Wild,” the campaign blended original content, user-generated stories, and bold visuals that made our social platforms unmissable.
THE RESULTS:
A major spike in engagement and new followers
A deeper, more personal connection with our audience
A noticeable boost in online presence and brand recognition
Much,
Much More
During my time as Digital Marketing Assistant at Wild Tea Kombucha, I led the brand’s entire online presence. I helped orchestrate and execute major campaigns, including a full collaboration and photoshoot with CBC. I handled social media promotion, blogging, content creation, and design.
My role also extended beyond the screen. I traveled across Alberta, from Calgary to Banff and beyond, capturing vibrant, on-brand product photography in the wild landscapes that reflected our bold, adventurous spirit. I also ran on-the-ground promotional events such as setting up tasting tents at golf courses to introduce new customers to the product and engage directly with the community.
This role allowed me to fully immerse myself in the WTK brand. It allowed me to blend strategy, creativity, and hands-on experience to help grow and energize its presence both online and offline.
